27.01.2009 - Free Media Training - Awareness, Media and Information (AMI) Project Lyn Jenkins from the Open Up Project based in London will be training people in how to deal with the media. This will be of particular interest to people who want to go on our Talkbank but it is open to others. If you are interested please contact Heather Payne on 01926 335569. 29.11.2008 - South Warwickshire User Forum AGM This takes place at St Mary's Church Centre, St Mary's Road, Leamington Spa. Teas and coffees available from 10.30am. Business begins at 11.00am. Free buffet lunch at 12.30pm. Speaker: Fran Godwin, who will be talking about Asylums, a History of Segregation. 23.10.2008 - Warwickshire User Involvement Strategy South Warwickshire User Forum and North Warwickshire's Voices 4 Choices have written this strategy for the Joint Commissioners for Adult Mental Health Services in Warwickshire. It's aim is to set out the values and principles that we would like to see underpin user involvement in mental health. It will be followed up over the next few months by an implementation plan. 10.10.2008 - Open Up! An exhibition of creative work by people with experience of 'mental health problems'. At the Old Art Gallery, Avenue Road, Leamington Spa.
