Participatory Video Workshops 2009
The South Warwickshire User Forum (Mental Health) is offering Participatory Video workshops as part of the Postitive Voices and Images Campaign.
The first of these events will be held at The Old Gallery, Avenue Road, Leamington Spa (next door to the Old Library). Thursday 26th November, from 10.00 am onwards.
What is Participatory Video work? It's a process of shaping and creating your own film. Video work is easy and accessible - forget what you've been told that it's highly technical - you will learn all the techniques and skills to enable you to make your own film in one day.
Contact Heather Payne for further details: heather@swuf.org.uk or 01926 335569.
All participants must be mental health service users or survivors, or have suffered emotional distress.
(p.s. everything you'll need is provided)
And don't forget our Video Competition 'It's Always on My Mind: Mental Health and Me'. More details here.
